Once upon a
time, there lived a funny little fellow with a very big heart. He was short in
stature and a wee bit boisterous but long on love and devotion. In truth, he
was a prince and he attended to his domain with regal flair, imparting wisdom
and dispensing good will. Those whose lives he touched the most, marveled at
his unique outlook and demeanor. And as his star began to rise, the question
was often posed to those near and far, almost in a whisper as if not to
offend,"What's a pannie anyway?" At the time, of course, no one could answer.
The prince continued to refine his role in an ever-growing Kingdom. His
siblings would look up to him and offer their respect. Family and friends gave
him their love which he cheerfully reciprocated. Much to the delight of all
around him, the question could no longer be ignored,"What's a pannie anyway?"
As his lifetime of love came to a tearful conclusion and his memory
became permanently etched in our hearts and minds, Manny the Pannie, our noble
Scottie man, was destined to live on and lend his name to a new dream. So
what's a pannie anyway? A pannie is a little bit of goodness baked in the shape
of a biscuit in honor of our prince. |
